We help make moving easier by providing a comprehensive cleaning of the empty home, including cleaning inside the fridge, inside the oven, and cupboards.

Inside the Fridge:  Wipe down & disinfect. Please empty the fridge prior to service.


Inside the Oven:  Clean & de-grease inside of oven.


Interior Windows:  Clean inside of reachable interior windows.


Inside Cabinets:  Clean interior cabinets and drawers in kitchen and/or bathroom. Please empty cabinets and drawers prior to service.


Load of Laundry:  Wash, dry, and fold. Please let us know what garments you want washed on the day of your service.

There are some services we cannot provide, usually for safety reasons or because our cleaners are not properly certified for the activity. These include:

We serve the lower part of Fairfield County, including Bridgeport, Darien, Fairfield, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston, Westport, and Wilton. We can sometimes go further, but may need to charge a travel fee in these cases. If you want to check on a specific location, just reach out via phone, email, or live chat. 

Yes! Just email us at [email protected] or call / text at (203) 309-1176 if you need to change an appointment. If it’s within 48 hours of the appointment, a cancellation fee of $75 will be charged to the card on file. This is to compensate our cleaners for any lost time, as they get paid by the job.

No! You are never locked into a long term contract. If you choose to make a recurring booking, then decide later to cancel, just tell us and we’ll be happy to update your service schedule.


It’s up to you how much prep you want to do before the cleaning. However, your cleaners reserve the right to reconsider the job if they feel there’s more work needed than what was ordered. This is rarely an issue, but let us know if advance if you have any questions or concerns. We want to make sure your cleaners are properly prepared, adequately compensated for their effort, and that you’re completely satisfied with your cleaning!

No. We provide all of the cleaning supplies and equipment, unless you have a request for something out of the ordinary.

Definitely! Tips aren’t required but are always appreciated by a cleaner who has done a great job. You can tip your cleaner in cash, or let us know how much you want to tip and we’ll add it to the total amount charged.

That’s 100% up to you! You can be at home for your appointment, or you can provide keys / access codes if you’re not going to be around. Many of our regular clients provide a lock box at home with a key so that the cleaners simply use that key to enter the home, then put it back in the lock box for next time.

Because of travel time and previous appointments sometimes taking longer than expected, we give you a 1-hour window for when your cleaners will arrive. In the rare event that a cleaner can’t make the arrival window, we’ll contact you ASAP to make arrangements to adjust the time or reschedule to another day.

On the day before your appointment, a hold will be placed on the credit card you used to book. This hold is only to make sure that billing goes smoothly the following day, you are not charged at this time. Once your cleaning is complete, we’ll charge the card on file and send you a receipt.


If you’re not happy with your cleaning, we’ll come back and re-clean (within the next 7 days). If you still aren’t satisfied enough to recommend Maid Palace to your friends, we’ll refund 100% of what you paid.

All of our cleaners pass a rigorous vetting process (including interviews, nationwide background checks, reference checks, and test cleans). Only a small number of the people that apply end up working as a Maid Palace certified cleaner.

We have three levels of security for billing. First, our booking page is protected with extended validation SSL. Second, our booking form has its own layer of 256 bit security. Third, credit card transactions are processed by Stripe and are use their own 256 security protocol. On top of this, credit card numbers are never stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card). We take security of our customers’ information very seriously.

If anything goes wrong we’re here to get it sorted. Please let us know ASAP and we’ll be there to make it right. That’s our promise on every single job!

All of the cleaners we partner with are fully insured for these situations and will be ready to take care of any accidents. Your cleaners are responsible for their own work, and Maid Palace is not their employer. If there is any breakage or damage, they will handle the issue with you promptly and directly. 


Thankfully, we have found situations like this to be very rare. To limit the chance of any accidents, we suggest talking to your cleaners about any items of importance, and in some cases you may want to ask them to leave certain items untouched altogether.
